Originally designed and constructed in 1960 by the famous architect Aris Konstantinidis, Mykonos Theoxenia had a vision: to establish the example of contemporary hospitality on the cosmopolitan island regarding architecture and premium services. After 6 decades of presence in the hospitality scene, the exemplar hotel proceeded with a total renovation.
Trésor Hospitality has been appointed to materialize the significant project on the island of Mykonos in collaboration with Louis Hotels. This major co-operation set a new vision, to manage the reposition of the historical luxury hotel to the upper clientele in respect of its legacy and the original architectural design. Trésor Hospitality oversaw all stages of development during the renovation and pre-opening rebranding while continued monitoring the sales, the marketing and the overall management support.
The fully renovated hotel reflects the UNESCO designation and the purity of traditional Cycladic architecture and stone craftsmanship of one of the greatest Greek architect’s inspiration. Preserving the historic character of its structure which is based and connected with the energy and austerity of the Island of Delos, it infuses modern classic elements of decoration. Situated in the renown Little Venice neighborhood, the favorite getaway of Aristoteles Onassis and Jackie Kennedy is celebrated as a jet-setting destination of A-list celebrities offering a haven of serenity, taste and refinement, a masterclass in relaxation and beauty.
The goal of this project is to develop a complete strategy of repositioning the historical hotel among the top 3 on Mykonos Island and attract the international upper market of travelers. The key objective is to develop a fresh new presentation, while retaining elements of the glamour past and channeling them to its brand growth.
